A superb quality George III mahogany bureau, the satinwood banded fall being supported on two pull out lopers and opening to reveal a magnificently fitted interior of a central cupboard door with original marquetry shell inlay, flanked by two secret compartments with shell and reeded inlay fronts , these in turn flanked by an arrangement of chequer inlaid drawers and pigeonholes including hidden drawers, all above an arrangement of 2 over 3 oak lined drawers with original oval handles flanked by reeded square half pillars with further inlaid tops and bottoms all raised on ogee bracket feet.
