Elegant and rare pair of period Biedermeier armchairs of north German origin of amber coloured solid figured walnut. The back supports on each side unite with the arms and both unite around the top of the front legs.The seats are rounded at the back, the front legs are slightly curved and tapering, the rear being of sabre form. Fully restored and newly upholstered.
