Attractive Louis XVI secretaire a abattant with double use as bar cabinet. Probably made during the 70s in Valencia, Spain. Mainly of mahogany structure with large veneer panels of burr walnut inlaid with several complex marquetry designs, floral as well as geometrical. The squarish main body features rounded front corners all supported by four well turned and channelled legs, with profuse bronze and brass metal decorations throughout the entire piece. The fall front door once open reveals various interior compartments and shelves and could be used as desk or to serve as bar.
