Attractive early 19th century Cocobolo* rosewood foldover tea table with unusual multi tiered columned central pedestal centered over quadripartite base with sabre shaped feet terminating in elaborate brass casters. The 2 top D shaped leaves rotate 90º and open with a book type action doubling the size of the table and exhibiting spectacular rosewood surfaces, over a large storage compartment that can accomodate even a large cutlery service. This versatile table may be used as a console against a wall, as a tea or games table or even as a small dining and serving table.

*The Cocobolo Rosewood is the prettiest and hardest of the rosewood family and originates in Central      America
