Biedermeier work table/sewing table of scarce Gothic design of figured oyster walnut. One large central drawer opens to reveal an impecable white maple or ash interior with removable compartments and needle pillow. The interior is impecable as if it were never used.

The design of this work table is so scarce that we thought it was made during the second half of the 19th century. With new data obtained lately we confirm that the table is made during the first Biedermeir period 1825-30
