Elegant set of 6 cherry Biedermeier chairs with distinctive carvings on their upper back, characteristic of the early Biedermeier era of Vienna. The legs are of sabre type tapering towards the end and the seats are the drop-in type and newly upholstered. The chairs date to the first third of the 19th century and look modern.
