Elegant commode semainier Biedermeier of Danish origin dating to the middle of 19th century of exceptional figured mahogany veneers and solid oak interior. The 2 frontal columns have Corinthian capitals. One of the 7 drawers serves as a bureau with an outsliding writing surface revealing 4 small drawers that flank a small open compartment. The lowest drawer is of double size than the rest. All the locks are original with keys and bone escutcheons. Professionally restored, it divides into two bodies for ease of transport.
