Fine Petite Side Table Biedermeier of very elegant proportions, work of master cabinetmaker, with 4 fine tapering and slightly curving birchwood legs at the bottom end, with 2 ebony inlaid lines each, united by X-shape stretchers with a center oval lozenge of birch. The top with a satin birch oval shape surrounded by ebony line inlay as well as kingwood banding around the edge. The frieze also kingwood banded, with a single center drawer on one side of oak interior. The satin birch figure in the oval top changes shape and form depending from which side it is looked upon. All in excellent original condition.
