Attractive honey coloured Satin Birch Secretaire Biedermeier of Swedish Origin with lovely rounded front corners and a large fall front that when open, it offers a large writing surface and stays horizontal so that it may be used for placing decorative items. It also reveals a number of small and medium sized drawers, 2 open compartments and 2 more hidden behind the Doric black lacquered columns that flank a central cupboard with a door. Below the fall front writing surface, there are 3 large drawers with great capacity. The base is of an original design that incorporates hidden supports in all 4 corners. Beautifully restored with its locks and keys.
