Description

Antique walnut and burr walnut Secretaire a Abattant of the Biedermeier period and of Danish origin with its characteristic pagoda top and a long drawer below it. The fall front door reveals a central cabinet with serpentie door flanked by 2 arched open compartments all interiors veneered with ebony macasar, 3 smaller drawers and one large with decorative ebonized bands throughout. The lower section with 3 large drawers over a moulded bottom all on 4 well turned supports. Original locks with 2 sets of keys.
