Flemish Commode - 18th Century - SOLD

Description

Attractive Flemish provincial commode of serpentine front dating to the middle of the 18th century, made principally of oak and walnut with mahogany, rosewood and kingwood parquetry. 3 large serpentine fronted drawers with their original pulls, escutcheons, locks and key. The top is of serpentine oversailing shape on 3 sides with further parquetry designs. The bowed skirt below is flanked by slightly curved feet. Fully restored and ready to adorn a formal room as well as any country decor.
